Episode 160 - Business & Finance Series - Joe Sangl

Each of our financial situations looks different. For some of us, 2020 was a hard year, and we’re still trying to pick up the pieces and figure out how to move forward. Others of us are more comfortable, able to pay our bills on time without any worry and perhaps wondering how we should handle this privilege. No matter what our bank accounts look like, we are all called to steward what we have wisely and to live generously, even if that looks different from one person to the next. That’s what Joe Sangl spends his life teaching people. As a leader teacher on finances from a Christian perspective, Joe has helped hundreds of thousands of people understand how to handle their money according to Biblical principles in any situation. To close out our Business and Finance Series, Joe sits down with Davey to share a little of how he got where he is now and some advice we all can follow on stewarding our finances well.

“If the enemy can keep you broke he can keep you selfish, instead of selfless. He can keep you greedy versus generous. And, he can keep you self-focused instead of focused on others.”
-Joe Sangl
