Meet Your Guide
Teresa was born into generations of trauma and abuse: alcohol, domestic, emotional, and verbal. She also found her oldest brother in his room, after he had ended his life through suicide. Even more recently, Teresa took a DNA test for fun, only to discover that the man who raised her wasn’t even her father. Teresa is now certified in trauma recovery and she helps people process their past, uncover their places of trauma, and come into the wholeness that Jesus came to give. She serves as the Coaching Director for Nothing is Wasted Ministries.
Teresa is highly trained in trauma recovery, having completed numerous advanced courses. Her education includes Somatic Embodiment with Dr. Linda Thai and various classes through Trauma Solutions with Dr. Diana Poole Heller, such as Healing the Roots of Shame and Intro to Attachment. Through the IAOTRC, she has taken advanced courses on topics like Not Parent Expected (NPE), Shame, and Narcissistic Abuse. Additionally, Teresa has developed her own class on Spiritual Abuse.
